Wednesday August 11th

I did better today!

-Romaine lettuce salad with grape tomatoes and feta mixed with lemon vinaigrette
-a few pieces of ginger soy pork hands
-cup of joe with a splash of skim milk
-an orange
-an apple
-cliff mojo peanut butter pretzel bar
-2 glasses of aqua fresca
-arugula salad with salmon on top
-tomatoes in balsamic vinegar
-handful of raw cashews
-handful of pistachios
-small glass of oj
-a few pieces of black bean chinese squash (grown from our garden!)
-glass of wine

Zumba was tonight! Won't be able to walk tmrw for sure haha

Tuesday August 10th

I didn't so well today... but I will do better tmrw.

Jessika
-Taro cake thingy. not sure what the direct translation is, it's not an actual cake or sweet. it's kinda doughy?
-Salad (romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes and onions) with lemon vinegrette dressing and a sprinkle of feta
-A sliced tomato in balsamic vinegar
-3 longans
-Helping of fried rice (oops)
-8 pieces of hunan chicken
-piece of fried taro, but ripped off the fried- pieces
-malaysian bread (like naan) in curry sauce (oops)
-ginger soysauce pig legs (from carmen. it's tradition to give to people when you have a baby)
-chilean sea bass!
-teeny tiny slice of haagan daaz birthday cake (double oops)
-glass of aqua fresca!
-salad (same as above)
-handful of cashews

I took a Step class today and don't think I'll be able to walk tmrw and for fun: http://foodporndaily.com/ looks too good today.

Oops.. I forgotted to blog!

Today (May 6th), Renee ate:

-approx. 10-15 pieces of pineapple and strawberry
-1 'raw' flax seed pancake with maple syrup (approx 4 in)
-1 piece of 'raw' tiramisu
-baked tostido chips and salsa (maybe 1/2 cup of salsa and 20 chips)
-a big handful of cashews
-5 pieces of chocolate
-a small glass of oj
-a small glass of apple juice
-a plate with salad, ranch dressing, spaghetti, tomato sauce, green beans, and a slice of garlic bread (it all fit on one dinner plate.. so.. about that much?)
-a pint of caramel vanilla soy ice cream (oops!)


Tomorrow I start a super healthy workout routine! (hence my urge for the pint of ice cream...)

It's a pretty easy day to update.. seeing as how I haven't eaten anything today...

Tuesday, April 21st- Renee ate:
-approx. 5-10 saltines
-1/2 bottle of ginger ale
-1/2 spangles mudslide (soft serve with chocolate and peanut butter cups)
-something from Poblano for dinner (it's like chipotle.. bryan went to get it, and he's not back yet)

Monday, April 20th:
-1/2 cheese sandwich
-1/2 peanut butter & honey sandwich
-maybe 10-15 baked tostidos with homemade guacamole
-1 mini cadbury egg
-1/2 grapefruit
(all of which ended up in a plastic bag later in the day)
-1/2 bottle of ginger ale
-maybe 6 saltines

Easter food coma..

Ugh.. Renee doesn't even want to post today because she ate so much.

Sunday:
-special k with soy milk
-cup of coffeeee
-maybe 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes
-a spoonful of scrambled eggs
-a spoonful of fried potatoes
-1 piece of pumpkin pancake stuff with other stuff on top of it
-a spoonful of mac&cheese
-1 spoonful of green bean casserole
-a tiny sliver of homemade bread
-a few cubes of cheese
-about 1 tbsp of hummus with chips
-1 mini cinnamon roll
-2 mini philo dough cups with caramel mousse
-1 mini peanut butter and chocolate dessert thingy
-1 mini lemon cheesecake
-most of a piece of chocolate cake
-a small piece of pineapple upside down cake
-a small sliver of pumpkin pie

Ughhhhh

(Saturday wasn't much better)
Saturday:

-small fruit smoothie
-lots of wheat thins with mozzarella cheese
-maybe 5 marshmallows?
-a SMORE!
-toooo many potato chips
-a roll from work
-1/2 grapefruit
-cup of oj
-lots of chocolate. (1/2 of a solid milk chocolate easter bunny, 5 reeses miniatures, 4 mini cadbury cream eggs, and probably a lot more that I can't remember now)

Friday:

(don't remember what I ate most of the day...) but at the wedding, I ate:
-cubes of cheese
-2 pieces of wedding cake (i was joking with casey saying i wanted to eat his piece too.. and he gave it to me. i didn't mean it!)
-some fresh fruit and broccoli
-this weird pasta salad stuff
-a cup of fruit punch
-a can of starbucks vanilla latte stuff
-5-ish beers

-half of a pb&honey sandwich
-hickory bbq ribs (veggie) with roasted red&yellow peppers and green beans
-a cup o tea
-maybe 20 wheat thins with a tbsp of hummus
-a side of sweet potato polenta, butternut squash risotto, asparagus, and mushroom ragoooo. (how do you spell ragooo?) it had bacon in it too. i ate around it.
-3 pieces of mango licorice

(I'm sure I ate more.. but I can't remember)

Saturday:
-bowl of vanilla almond special k with soy milk
-a taco bell beef and potato burrito with beans instead of beef
-a taco bell double decker taco (i wanted a cheesy gordita crunch, but she gave me a double decker instead. booo)
-4 chunks of toblerone chocolate
-3 margaritas (1.50 each!)
-2 smallish quesadillas
-lots and lots of chips
-a cup of coffee with a shot of peppermint schopps
-a small glass of a drink called a kamakasi

Sunday:
-a bowl of vanilla almond special k with soy milk
-lots of handfuls of vanilla almond special k without soy milk
-a small glass of grapefruit juice
-1/2 of a bag of mango flavored licorice (ugh.. too much)
-a microwave broccoli rice & cheese dinner

MANTRACKER!

Renee saw the show "Mantracker" for the first time today! She wants to apply to be on it with Bryan!!

Today, Thursday April 2nd:
-1 big bowl of special k with soy milk (350)
-maybe 1-1 1/2 cups of pasta with pesto, tomatoes, and mozzarella (i made it myself.. mmm..) (300?)
-a bowl of salad with bryan's mustard vinaigrette (150?)
-4 animal crackers (100)
-1 fruit smoothie (150)
-a block of mozzarella (200)
-1 grapefruit (100)
-5 strawberries (50)

that puts me at 1400, and I think I'm done eeeaatin.

Trying to eat only 1500 calories a day

...not really working...

Tuesday, Renee ate:

-bowl of special k with soy milk (300 calories)
-a little less than half of my ben & jerry's (400 calories)
-double espresso (140)
-small soft serve cone from braums (? 250 calories ?)
-approx. 3/4 of a burrito from chipotle (600 calories?)

so that was about 1690 calories.. if I guessed correctly.

Wednesday, Renee ate:

-bowl of special k with soy milk (300 calories)
-maybe 30 wheat thins with cheese and hummus (260 calories for wheat thins, 300 for cheese and hummus?)
-bowl of cous cous with veggies (300 calories)
-cup of chai tea (20)
-espresso with creamer and marshmallows (100)
-animal crackers (100)
-bite of bryan's pbj (30)

Total: 1410
Though I feel pretty full.. so I feel like I musta eaten more.. but I can't think of anything else..

On Saturday, Renee ate:

-1 white russian (or, something kinda like a white russian)

On Sunday, Renee ate:
-3 steamed veggie dumplings
-1/2 glass of watermelon lemonade
-2 cream cheese wontons
-2.5 vegetable moo shoo pancakes
-maybe 1/2 cup of brown rice with veggies
-(obviously other stuff.. i can't remember)

On Monday, Renee has eaten:
-a big bowl of special k with soy milk
-1/2 pbj sandwich
-1/2 hummus and soy cheese sandwich
-some animal crackers
-a cup of french vanilla hot chocolate
-1/2 pint of ben and jerry's strawberry cheesecake ice cream
-small plate of spinach noodles with veggie and soy sauce
-1/2 cup of carrot salad
-1/2 mango
-2 boston butter martinis
-1 donut (or a bunch of bites of diff. donuts, probably = 1 donut)

Renee had a job interview and it went well!

She ate:
3/4 of a blueberry bagel with peanut butter
1 cup of chai tea with creamer
most of 1 cup'o'noodles (hardly any of the broth though)
a slice of zucchini strudel
a few bites of roasted veggies
3 haribo gummies
a sliver of cinnamon cake

hmm.. I feel like I've eaten more, but I can't remember

oh yeah! Staaaahbucks!

We used the rest of the gift card that jessika gave us to starbucks.

Poor Food Blog...

...nobody loves you anymore.

Renee can't really remember much of what she ate last week.. but from what she remembers, on Thursday, she ate:
-lunch at genghis grill (a big bowl of veggies, tofu, noodles, and sauce)
-a bite of tj's chocolate cake dessert
-some wheat thins with fig blended goat cheese
-a few handfuls of doritos
-a cookie (literally, a cookie) spread with brie
-a tall white chocolate mocha from starbucks
-3 beers (i think?) and a double vodka with cranberry juice

On Friday, Renee and Bryan drove to texas. She ate:
-some wheat thins with fig blended goat cheese smeared on 'em
-a bag of mini bbq rice cakes
-a starbucks caramel frap
-a few chunks of pineapple
-a mozz/tomato/pesto sandwich and side of pasta salad from a restaurant called Le Madeline's
-bread pudding dessert topped with ice cream (a little over half.. i shared it)
-a drink similar to a long island iced tea
-a glass of coke with maybe a double shot of vodka

On Saturday, Renee and Bryan went to six flags. She ate:
-a starbucks mocha frap
-1/2 bag of mini cheddar rice cakes
-2 wedges of a clementine
-1/3 of a big soft pretzel with mustard
-1 pink thing! (a sort of ice cream thing sold only at six flags)
-1/2 bottle of coke
-1 individual serving of strawberry jello
-1/2 blueberry bagel
-a glass of 100% orange/pineapple/banana juice

On Sunday, Renee and Bryan went to the art museum:
-2 individual servings of jello (one orange and one strawberry)
-1/2 blueberry bagel
-2 mimosa's (1$ each!)
-a burrito filled with egg, potato, and cheese and some veggies with a few bites of refried beans on the side
-quite a few chips with salsa
-a mini cinnamon cookie
-a reg. coffee with sugar and milk
-cheese fries from freddie's frozen custard!
-a glass of lemonade

-lunch at abuelos (lots of chips, huevos rancheros, and 1 sopapilla)
-4 hersheys kisses
-1/2 of a white russian
-1/2 of some pineapple mixed drink
-1 glass of red wine

that's it. for real real.

Renee must have been hungry and/or drunk really fast haha. On Saturday, Jessika had:

-malaysian bread with curry sauce
-some malaysian noodles
-rice with veggies and hainan chicken
-sample of baguette with olive oil
-guacamole n chips
-fettucine pasta with chicken, asparagus, zucchini, and yellow squash
-garlic bread with cheese
-nutella tart with strawberries
-a sam adams white ale
-glass of raspberry lambic (really good with nutella tart!)
-a vodka tonic
-soco lime on the rocks
-a hoeegarden (sp?)

On Sunday, Renee ate:

-1 large smoothie
-1 small bowl of special k
-1 spoonful of yogurt
-1 tostido with dip
-1 plate of etheopian food
-1 mini lava cake with grilled bananas and pineapple
-1 grapefruit
-1 bowl of fruity pebbles

Jessika had:
-2/3 spinach and provolone omlette (hangover cure?)
-2/3 of a buttermilk pancake with some butter and some maple syrup
-half a cup of coffee
-a few fingerling potatoes with ketchup
-some guac n chips
-a bite of hummus with a sourdough pretzel
-bowl of rice with roasted salmon
-a few pieces of broccoli and shanghainese veggies
-a slice of pear pecan crisp with caramel swirl ice cream

-white chocolate, hershey's kisses, and ritter sport chocolate (a total of approx. 660 calories)
-bbq flavored mini rice cakes (350 calories)
-apple juice (100 calories)
-eggplant parmesan (?? calories, bryan's dad made it)
-1 grapefruit (100 calories)
-1/2 piece of bread with kiopoolu (bulgarian spread made with eggplant, peppers, tomatoes and other ingredients.. we stayed up til 1am cooking it!)
-a handful of almonds (100 calories)
-1/2 of a naked juice
-1 small bowl of fruity pebbles
-1 bowl of grape nuts

hmm.. that looks like a lot more than I thought I ate.

On Thursday, Jessika ate:

-chix n potatoes w rice
-6inch subway sandwich, maybe turkey n ham
-few handfuls of plantain chips
-fish n chips
-half of a pineapple fritter
-small pomegranate red mango with captain crunch and strawberries

-2 cups of tea with milk
-3 vietnamese eggrolls
-cucumber salad
-rice
-sweet vietnamese pork
-a slice of cake with lemon cream cheese frosting and pomegranate seeds (mmm..)
-and 4 glasses of wine
-and a chocolate raspberry tart

Okay okay okay.... after a week hiatus I'm back. for real real. Can I blame PMS?

Today I had:

-small bowl of whole wheat pasta with meat sauce
-2/3 a glass of orange juice
-2 caramel filled milk chocolate pecan cookies
-a few sourdough pretzels
-a spoonful of hummus
-rice with melon soup, 2 fishballs and some glass noodles
-a few snowpeas
-a few bites of shanghainese veggies
-a few pieces of white chop chicken with ginger sauce
-a few bites of cantaloupe
-a lemon walnut scone that was really more like a biscuit
-a small bowl of congee


Renee doesn't remember what she ate.. it was two days ago:

-1 fruit smoothie
-5 andes mints
-some girl scout cookies and chocolate
-1 bowl of vegetable stew
-1 java chip frappucino (for free!!)
-4 beers

(i know i must have eaten more, but i really can't remember..)
